We are proud to announce that Dr. hab. inż. Aneta Lewkowicz from the Institute of Experimental Physics, Faculty of MPI, has been nominated for the next stage of the Eureka! DGP 2025 competition!

Lewkowicz

The innovative invention of Doctor Lewkowicz - "A method of visualizing fingerprint traces on an absorbent substrate and a final solution for visualizing fingerprint traces on an absorbent substrate" - is among the exceptional twenty projects written about by "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna". The winning innovations will be published on the daily's website in the Friday edition in the "Eureka! DGP" series, weekly until June 13th, 2025.

The idea of this competition is to present practical inventions that find application in the economy and production. Doctor Lewkowicz has developed an innovative method of revealing fingerprint traces using molecular physics. The invention allows for the detection of fingerprints on absorbent surfaces, such as thermal paper or wallpaper. This broadens the possibilities of finding fingerprints, which significantly expands the possibilities of action in the field of forensics!
